What information is included in this type of check?

BS7858 Screening consists of:

  • Criminal Records — Search for unspent convictions only (Basic Disclosure)
  • Employment history check — Confirmation of past five year’s employment with validation of any gaps exceeding 31 days.
  • Credit Report – Adverse credit information will be detailed.
  • Right to work — Nationality and Immigration Status
  • ID Report — ID data check (electronic identity authentication- name, address, aliases, links, accounts etc.)
  • Character References – Personal character references from individuals known to the applicant for a period of 2 years or more.

In addition, candidates are required to disclose any significant periods spent abroad (6 months or more in the past three years).We have no global screening limitations and can easily provide the international equivalent of BS7858 to “cover all ground”.
